This is because if someone uses the term Ninjutsu or Ninja, people tend to have a variety of pre-conceived ideas about what that means.

2009 Canada Taikai - Koto Ryu Tanemura-ha

The Tai Kai will be held in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, on September 17-20th, 2009. Sensei will be accompanied by Shihan James Wright, who will be assisting to facilitate the Tai Kai.

2009 Ireland Taikai - Amatsu Tatara

Although Tanemura Sensei has taught aspects of the AmatsuTatara at Taikais in recent years, at this Seminar in Ireland, Sensei will open up for the first time the ‘inner heart of the AmatsuTatara teachings’ to the world.

2009 UK Taikai
Posted on March 29th, 2009 No commentsFor a second year in a row, Tanemura Soke will be teaching a Taikai in Brighton England. The dates are from October 29 through November 1st.
Instruction will include Tenshin Hyoho Kukishin Ryu: Bojutsu, Bikenjutsu, and Ju-jutsu. Check back for more information.

2008 Milwaukee Taikai - Gyokko Ryu Tanemura-ha
Posted on August 1st, 2008 No commentsIn July of 2008 members of the Genbukan Bansenshukai Dojo were honored to attend the Milwaukee Taikai on Gyokko Ryu Tanemura-ha.
This Taikai was sponsored by Kyoshi Michael Coleman of the Futen Dojo. Soke Tanemura taught this amazing event bringing with him Shihan Nicola D’Onofrio from Honbu Dojo. Read the rest of this entry »
